I just finished reading "Blue Sleep," and I must admit I was blown away! This story has all the suspense, character development, and pure entertainment value of a full length novel in a perfectly paced short story.Houser employs a uniquely conversational style that one might suspect wouldn't lend itself to a thriller story, but it creates a truly intriguing feel that is quite a nice change of pace from many stories of this kind. I also can't help but echo other reviewer's appreciation for the attention to the thorough and solid proofreading that must have been done for this story. For anyone who gets pulled out of the story because of a badly worded sentence or typo, there is no need to fear here!
My only word of warning is this - as of the time of this review, Houser appears to only have one other ebook available on Amazon, and trust me when I say that this book will leave you wanting MORE! Highly recommended read.

very good read
I would have to say I am ready for more. This story ended way too early for me. Great story, quick, suspenseful and well written. I am so glad I found it! Great quick read.
Don't let the length of this one scare you away! Young adults are falling into comas and Daniel is trying to determine the cause. His brother, Tommy is one of those in the "Blue sleep".
The ending of this one was a complete surprise to me which I always enjoy in a short story.
Highly recommended.
Cool story. I just wish it were longer to find out if the aliens were telling the truth or was this really a way to take over the earth. Kudos to the author with good story telling and I found none of the usual typos, misspelling and whatnot that is commonly found in ebooks these days. Very nicely done! I would recommend this story to anyone for a quick and enjoyable read.
